Crane Operator

Location South East Queensland, based from SandgateStatus Expressions of interest open

Operate mobile cranes on construction, civil, commercial and specialist lifts across South East Queensland.

What you'll do

  • Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently to the lift plan
  • Carry out pre-start checks and report defects
  • Work with dogmen and riggers to set up, lift and pack down
  • Represent ELS professionally with clients and site teams
  • Follow site inductions, safety systems and documentation

What you'll bring

  • Current High Risk Work Licence for the crane classes you operate (e.g. CN, C2, C6 or higher)
  • Proven experience operating mobile cranes on construction sites
  • General construction induction (White Card)
  • Appropriate driver licence for the vehicles you'll operate
  • A strong safety record and attention to detail
  • Dogging or rigging tickets highly regarded

Dogman-Rigger

Plan, sling and direct lifts alongside our crane operators, and carry out rigging work on site.

What you'll do

  • Select and inspect lifting gear before each lift
  • Sling loads and direct the crane operator
  • Set up and manage exclusion zones
  • Carry out rigging to your licence class
  • Keep pre-starts and site paperwork up to date

What you'll bring

  • Current High Risk Work Licence: Dogging (DG)
  • Rigging licence (RB, RI or above) highly regarded
  • General construction induction (White Card)
  • Experience on construction or civil sites
  • Clear communication and a calm approach under pressure

Sales / Business Development Manager

Grow ELS's access and lifting hire business by building strong relationships with builders, contractors and industrial clients across South East Queensland.

What you'll do

  • Develop new business with builders, civil contractors and facility managers
  • Manage and grow key client accounts
  • Prepare quotes and proposals with our operations team
  • Understand client projects and match the right equipment and services
  • Represent ELS at site meetings and industry events

What you'll bring

  • Experience in equipment hire, cranes, access or construction sales
  • Established relationships with SEQ contractors highly regarded
  • Confidence to read a job and talk technical with site teams
  • Strong communication, organisation and follow-through
  • Current driver licence
